Real HydraFacial pricing in Pembroke Pines: what the Signature, Deluxe and Platinum tiers include, why prices vary, and how to pick the right one.

If you have looked up HydraFacial prices around Pembroke Pines, you have probably found the same thing we did: almost nobody publishes a number. You get "starting at" banners with no explanation, or you are asked to call. We publish our pricing, so here is the honest version.

The three tiers, and what each one actually costs

At Lumière, a HydraFacial comes in three tiers:

Signature — from $185. The core treatment: deep cleanse, exfoliation, painless extractions, and a flood of hydrating serums. If it is your first HydraFacial, this is the one to start with.

Deluxe — from $250. Everything in the Signature, plus a booster serum targeted to your skin concern and LED light therapy.

Platinum — from $300. The full experience: lymphatic drainage massage first, then everything in the Deluxe.

These are the industry's three HydraFacial tiers. The difference at Lumière is the experience: a true spa feel that pairs the relaxation of a spa day with medical-grade skin technology and the precise touch of our nurse practitioner. Our rates are among the most competitive in the area, new clients get 10% off, returning clients get perks, and monthly promos can include multi-treatment specials.

Why prices vary between med spas

When you see a HydraFacial advertised for less, it is worth asking what is being left out. Shorter appointment times, diluted serums, and aggressive upselling once you are in the chair are all common ways a low headline price becomes a normal final bill. And a price far above ours usually reflects the zip code, not a different machine.

A real HydraFacial uses patented vortex technology and branded serums. If the price seems too good to be true, ask whether it is actually a HydraFacial or a generic "hydra dermabrasion" facial.

Which tier is right for you?

Honest answer: most first-timers are thrilled with the Signature. Upgrade to the Deluxe when you have a specific concern — dullness, congestion, early fine lines — that a targeted booster can work on. The Platinum is the one to book before a big event, when you want the full ritual.

Your skin cell cycle is roughly four weeks, so monthly treatments are what make results compound. That is also why we keep the pricing simple: this only works if coming back is easy to justify.

What happens at your appointment

The treatment takes about 30 to 45 minutes. There is no downtime — most patients glow immediately and wear makeup the same day. You will see exactly what came out of your pores (oddly satisfying), and you leave with a plan, not a sales pitch.

If you are comparing options in Pembroke Pines, Miramar, or Cooper City, come see us. The consultation is free, the prices are published, and your skin will tell you the rest.

Is Botox Right for Me? Five Honest Questions to Ask First

Five questions that tell you whether Botox fits what you actually want, before you book anything. Written by the team at Lumière in Pembroke Pines.

Most people who ask us this question already have a reason in mind. A line that stays when the expression leaves. A photo where the forehead looks more tired than they feel. The honest answer is that Botox is right for a lot of people and wrong for some, and five questions sort out which group you are in.

1. Is the line there when your face is at rest?

Wrinkle relaxers work on lines caused by movement: frown lines, forehead lines, crow's feet. If the line shows only when you raise your brows or squint, Botox addresses it directly. If the line is etched in at rest, Botox softens it but may not erase it, and a filler or a collagen treatment may belong in the plan too. That is worth knowing before you book, not after.

2. Do you want to look rested, or different?

The best Botox is the kind nobody notices. Done well, people say you look rested, not treated. If what you want is a visibly different face, Botox alone will not get you there, and we would rather tell you now.

3. Can you commit to a visit every three to four months?

Results last about that long. Some people treat once and decide. Most come back on a rhythm, because the lines come back when the muscle does. If a quarterly visit does not fit your life, a longer-lasting option like Daxxify may suit you better.

4. Are you pregnant, nursing, or managing a neuromuscular condition?

Then the answer is wait, or no. We will ask about your health history before anything is injected, and we will say no when that is the right answer.

5. Do you know what it costs before you sit down?

You should. Our per-unit prices are published, a typical first treatment uses 20 to 40 units, and the consultation is free. You leave the first visit with a plan and an exact number.

If you answered the way most first-time patients do, Botox is probably a good fit. The way to know for sure is a 20-minute conversation with Michelle, which costs nothing. See Botox pricing in Pembroke Pines or request your free consultation.

How to Tell If You Have Had Too Much Filler, and What to Do About It

Overfilled faces happen gradually, which is why they are hard to notice in the mirror. Here are the honest signs, and the good news about fixing it.

This is one of the more common reasons patients come to see us, and almost nobody arrives having noticed it themselves. They arrive because a photograph looked wrong, or because someone said something.

Filler accumulates gradually. You see your face every day, so gradual change is exactly what you are least equipped to notice.

The signs worth knowing

Your cheeks sit higher and wider than they used to, especially when you smile. Overfilled cheeks push upward when the smile muscles engage, which can crowd the eyes and create a puffy look in photographs that is not visible at rest.

Your face looks fuller in photos than it feels in the mirror. Cameras flatten depth. Overfilling frequently shows up in photographs first.

The area under your eyes looks puffy or slightly blue. Filler placed too superficially there can hold water or scatter light oddly.

Your lips look good at rest but odd when you smile. A common sign that lip filler has passed the point your anatomy supports.

You have kept topping up without ever letting it dissolve. Hyaluronic acid filler lasts longer than most people are told, sometimes years. Treating every nine months on the assumption the previous round is gone is how faces slowly drift.

Why it happens to careful people

Rarely from one dramatic treatment. Almost always from many reasonable-seeming small additions, each one defensible on its own, none of them accounting for what is already there.

It is also worth saying that a good injector should sometimes be telling you no. If nobody has ever suggested you wait, that is worth noticing.

The good news

Hyaluronic acid filler is reversible. An enzyme called hyaluronidase dissolves it, usually within a day or two.

Dissolving is not a failure. It is a reset. Plenty of patients dissolve, wait a few weeks to see their actual face again, and then rebuild deliberately with far less product than they had before.

The result is almost always better, because it was planned as a whole rather than accumulated in pieces.

What we will do

Bring whatever you know about what was placed and when. We will assess what is there, tell you honestly whether dissolving makes sense, and if it does, plan what rebuilding looks like afterwards.

We will also tell you if we think you look fine and nothing needs doing. That happens more often than you would expect.

Non-Surgical Rhinoplasty: What Filler Can and Cannot Do for Your Nose

Filler can smooth a bump and lift a tip in fifteen minutes with no downtime. Here is what it does beautifully, and what still requires surgery.

A non-surgical nose job sounds like marketing, and the name does oversell it slightly. But the treatment is real, it is genuinely impressive in the right candidate, and it is one of the treatments patients travel to us for.

What it actually is

Precisely placed filler along the bridge and tip of the nose, used to change how light falls across it. Fifteen to twenty minutes, results visible immediately, essentially no downtime.

What it does beautifully

Smoothing a dorsal bump. This is the most common request and the most satisfying result. Counterintuitively, we add filler above and below the bump to create a straight profile line. The bump is still there. It simply no longer casts a shadow.

Lifting a drooping tip. A small amount of support at the base can lift the tip noticeably, which often makes the nose read as shorter.

Correcting minor asymmetry. Small irregularities can be evened out convincingly.

Refining a surgical result. Patients unhappy with a small aspect of previous surgery are often excellent candidates, since the remaining issue is usually minor.

What it cannot do

It cannot make your nose smaller. We are adding volume, not removing it. If your goal is reduction, surgery is the honest answer and we will tell you so.

It cannot narrow a wide nose or fix a significantly deviated septum, and it does nothing for breathing problems.

The safety conversation

This deserves saying plainly. The nose has a dense blood supply, and filler placed incorrectly there carries more risk than in most areas of the face. Complications are rare but serious.

That risk is managed by anatomical knowledge, careful technique and injecting slowly in the right plane. It is genuinely not a treatment to shop for on price. Ask whoever you are considering how often they perform it and how they handle a complication. Anyone competent will answer readily.

How long it lasts

Typically twelve to eighteen months, often longer than filler elsewhere because the nose moves so little. Many patients find the second treatment lasts longer still.

Is it right for you?

The best candidates want a specific, modest change: a smoother profile, a slightly lifted tip. If that describes you, come in and we will show you what is realistically achievable. You can see a real patient result in our before and after gallery.

IV Therapy: What It Does, and Who It Is Actually For

An honest look at IV vitamin therapy, what the science supports, what it does not, and when it genuinely makes sense.

IV therapy has become popular enough that it deserves a straightforward explanation, including the parts that get oversold.

The basic idea

Vitamins and fluids delivered directly into the bloodstream bypass the digestive system entirely. Absorption is complete and immediate, rather than partial and gradual.

That is a real advantage in specific situations, and less meaningful in others.

Where it genuinely helps

Dehydration. This is the least glamorous and most reliable benefit. If you are genuinely dehydrated, whether from illness, heat, exercise or a long night, intravenous fluids work faster and more completely than drinking. In South Florida in August, that is not a small thing.

Absorption problems. Some people genuinely do not absorb nutrients well through the gut, whether from a medical condition or medication. For them, IV delivery solves a real problem.

Recovery. Fluids plus electrolytes plus B vitamins after intense exertion or illness helps people feel functional sooner.

Where the claims outrun the evidence

If you eat reasonably and have no absorption issues, your body already maintains what it needs and excretes the excess. An IV will not make a well-nourished person meaningfully healthier.

Claims about curing illness, dramatically boosting immunity or detoxifying deserve scepticism regardless of who is making them. Your liver and kidneys handle detoxification, and they do it well.

We would rather tell you that plainly than sell you something on a promise that does not hold.

What we offer

Hydration, immune support, high-dose vitamin C, recovery blends and relief for the aftermath of a long night. Treatments take thirty to sixty minutes in a comfortable chair.

First-time IV therapy starts at $99, which lets you find out how you respond without a large commitment.

Before you book

Tell us about your medical history, particularly anything involving kidney or heart function, and any medications you take. High-dose vitamin C in particular is not appropriate for everyone.

If you are curious and unsure, the honest answer is that hydration and recovery are the benefits most likely to be real for you. Come in, try it, and judge by how you actually feel afterwards.

Why Medical-Grade Skincare Is Different From What You Buy at the Mall

The difference is concentration, formulation and evidence, not marketing. Here is what actually separates professional skincare from retail.

Patients often ask why they should buy skincare from us when the shelf at the department store has products with the same ingredients listed. It is a fair question, and the answer is more specific than "ours is better".

Concentration

Retail skincare is formulated to be safe for anyone who picks it up without guidance. That means active ingredients appear at conservative concentrations.

Professional lines are formulated for use under the direction of someone who assessed your skin first. The actives are present at levels that produce measurable change, which is also why they need that guidance.

Formulation and delivery

An ingredient list tells you what is in a bottle, not whether it can reach the part of your skin where it works.

Plenty of retail products contain vitamin C in a form that oxidises before it does anything useful. Professional formulations invest heavily in stability and delivery. That is invisible on the label and it is most of what you are paying for.

Evidence

The lines we carry publish clinical studies on their finished formulations, not just on individual ingredients. That distinction matters. An ingredient performing well in a laboratory says little about how a particular product performs on a face.

What we carry, and why only two

Skinbetter Science and Hydrinity. Two lines, not a wall of products.

Michelle tested both personally before we brought either into the studio, and uses them herself. We would rather offer two lines we can speak about honestly than twenty we cannot.

Where retail is genuinely fine

We are not going to pretend otherwise. Cleansers, basic moisturisers and body products from the drugstore are often perfectly good, and spending heavily on them is not a good use of your money.

Where professional formulation earns its price is in the actives: retinoids, antioxidants, pigment correctors, growth factors. That is where concentration, stability and delivery decide whether anything changes.

The honest recommendation

Come in for a skin assessment. We will look at your skin, ask what you are already using, and tell you which of your current products are working. If your drugstore moisturiser is doing its job, we will say so.

Then we will recommend the two or three things that would actually make a difference, rather than a full routine you will abandon in a month.

Semaglutide and Tirzepatide: Understanding Medical Weight Loss

How these medications actually work, how they differ, what the process at Lumière looks like, and the questions worth asking before starting.

Medical weight loss has become one of the most asked-about services in our practice, and also one of the most misunderstood. Here is a clear explanation of what these medications do and what a supervised programme actually involves.

How they work

Both semaglutide and tirzepatide mimic hormones your gut naturally releases after eating. They slow how quickly your stomach empties, signal fullness to your brain, and help regulate blood sugar.

The practical effect is that you feel satisfied sooner and stay satisfied longer. The constant background noise of food thoughts that many people live with tends to quieten considerably.

The difference between them

Semaglutide targets one hormone pathway, GLP-1. Tirzepatide targets two, GLP-1 and GIP.

In studies, tirzepatide has generally produced greater average weight loss. It also typically costs more. Neither is universally the right answer, and plenty of patients do very well on semaglutide.

What supervision actually means

This is the part worth paying attention to when comparing options.

We start with a full health history and an InBody composition scan, which measures muscle and fat separately rather than just total weight. That distinction matters enormously, because losing muscle alongside fat is a bad outcome even when the scale looks good.

Dosing starts low and increases gradually. That titration is not a formality. It is what keeps side effects manageable, and it should be adjusted based on how you specifically respond.

We monitor along the way and adjust. If side effects are difficult, we slow down. If progress stalls, we look at why rather than simply increasing the dose.

What to expect honestly

Nausea is the most common side effect, usually worst after a dose increase and usually improving. Eating smaller meals and slowing down helps considerably.

This is not a quick fix. Meaningful results take months, not weeks.

Protein intake and resistance training matter more than most people expect. Without both, a significant share of what you lose can be muscle. We will talk about this at every visit because it determines whether you end up leaner or simply smaller.

And weight often returns after stopping, which is worth understanding before you begin rather than after.

Is it right for you?

That depends on your health history, your goals and your circumstances, which is exactly what the consultation is for. It is free, it is thorough, and if we do not think this is the right path for you, we will say so.

Sun Damage in South Florida: What Actually Fades Dark Spots

Living here means sun exposure your skin remembers. Here is what genuinely fades pigmentation, in what order, and how to keep it from coming back.

Living in South Florida is wonderful for almost everything except your pigment. Years of sun, even the incidental kind through a car window, show up as dark spots, uneven tone and a general muddiness long before wrinkles become the main concern.

The good news is that pigmentation responds well to treatment. The catch is that it comes straight back if you skip the last step.

Start by knowing what you have

Not all dark spots are the same, and treating the wrong kind makes it worse.

Sun spots are discrete brown patches from accumulated UV exposure. They respond well and predictably to treatment.

Melasma is different. It appears as larger, blotchier patches, often symmetric across the cheeks or forehead, and it is driven by hormones as much as sun. Melasma can worsen with heat and aggressive treatment, so it needs a gentler, slower approach. Getting this distinction right is the single most important part of the plan.

Post-inflammatory pigmentation is the mark left behind after a spot or irritation. It usually fades on its own with time and protection.

What works, roughly in order

Medical-grade skincare is the foundation, not an afterthought. Ingredients that regulate pigment production do most of the long-term work, and no in-office treatment holds without them.

Chemical peels such as the Perfect Derma Peel lift existing pigment efficiently. Most patients see meaningful change from one, with better results from a short series.

Microneedling improves overall tone and texture, and helps the products you use at home penetrate better.

HydraFacial with brightening serums maintains results between the heavier treatments.

The part everyone skips

Sunscreen, every day, reapplied. Not just at the beach.

We are being direct about this because it decides whether your investment lasts. You can clear pigmentation beautifully and undo the entire result in one unprotected summer. A mineral SPF 30 or higher, applied every morning and reapplied when you are outdoors, is the difference between a result that holds and one that does not.

Timing matters here

We plan pigment treatment around your calendar. Peels and sun exposure do not mix, so if the next month is full of beach days, we would rather start after. Tell us what your season looks like and we will build the plan around it.

Microneedling or HydraFacial: Which Does Your Skin Actually Need?

Two of the most requested treatments, often confused. Here is what each one does, what it does not, and how to tell which your skin is asking for.

These get grouped together as facials, which does neither any favours. They work in completely different ways and solve different problems.

HydraFacial: cleaning and hydrating the surface

A HydraFacial cleanses, exfoliates, extracts and hydrates in a single pass using a vortex device. Think of it as the most thorough clean your skin can get, finished with serums pushed into freshly exfoliated skin.

What it is good for: congestion, dullness, blackheads, dehydration, and that general lack of glow. It is superb before an event, because there is no downtime and skin looks immediately better.

What it will not do: change your skin's structure. It works on the surface, and the results last a few weeks rather than months.

Microneedling: rebuilding from underneath

Microneedling creates thousands of tiny controlled channels in the skin. Your body responds by producing collagen and elastin as it repairs them. The result is structural change built over months.

What it is good for: acne scarring, enlarged pores, fine lines, uneven texture, and overall firmness. This is the treatment that changes how your skin is built rather than how it looks this week.

What it asks of you: downtime and patience. Expect to look sunburned for a day or two, and expect real results after a series of three to six sessions rather than after one.

How to tell which you need

Ask yourself what bothers you when you look closely in the mirror.

If it is dullness, congestion or dryness, and you want to look good this weekend, that is a HydraFacial.

If it is texture, scarring, pores or fine lines, and you are willing to invest a few months, that is microneedling.

Why many patients do both

They complement each other rather than compete. A common plan is a microneedling series to rebuild the skin, with HydraFacials in between to keep it clear and glowing while the collagen work happens underneath.

We can also add PRF or exosomes to microneedling to accelerate the healing and amplify the result. At your consultation we will look at your skin and tell you honestly which one it is actually asking for.

PRF Under the Eyes: Using Your Own Blood to Treat Dark Circles

PRF uses growth factors from your own blood to improve under-eye hollowing and texture. Here is how it compares to filler in that delicate area.

The under-eye area is the hardest place on the face to treat well. The skin is the thinnest anywhere on the body, there is very little fat beneath it, and mistakes are visible in every photograph.

PRF is one of the gentlest tools we have for it.

What PRF actually is

Platelet-rich fibrin. We take a small sample of your blood, spin it in a centrifuge to concentrate the platelets and growth factors, and inject that concentrate into the area we are treating.

Nothing synthetic is involved. It is your own biology, concentrated and put where it is useful.

Why it suits the under-eye

Traditional filler under the eyes can work beautifully, but the margin for error is small. Place too much, or too superficially, and it can look puffy or take on a bluish cast. Because the skin is so thin, it shows.

PRF behaves differently. Rather than adding volume, it improves the tissue itself: skin quality, thickness and texture over time. For patients whose main complaint is crepey, thin or dark skin rather than a hollow, it is often the better answer.

What it will not do

If you have significant hollowing, PRF alone will not fill it. Growth factors improve tissue quality, they do not replace lost volume. In that case filler, or a combination, makes more sense.

It is also not a one-visit treatment. Most patients need a short series, and results build over weeks rather than appearing immediately.

And no injectable treats dark circles caused purely by pigment or by genetics rather than shadow. We will tell you honestly at your consultation which type you have, because it changes what will actually help.

Recovery

Expect mild swelling and possible bruising for a few days. Because the material comes from you, allergic reaction is not a concern.

The honest summary

PRF is the right choice for patients who want a natural route, who are nervous about filler in a delicate area, or whose under-eye concern is about skin quality rather than volume. It asks for patience and a series of visits, and it rewards both.

What Is Sculptra, and How Is It Different From Filler?

Sculptra stimulates your own collagen instead of adding volume. Here is how that changes the timeline, the result and the kind of patient it suits.

Sculptra gets described as filler, which is understandable and not quite right. Filler adds volume immediately. Sculptra asks your body to make its own, gradually, over months.

That difference changes everything about how it is planned and who it suits.

How it works

Sculptra is poly-L-lactic acid, a biostimulator. Once placed, it prompts your skin to produce new collagen in the treated area. The product itself is absorbed. What remains is collagen your own body built.

That is why the change is slow. Nothing dramatic happens the week after treatment. Instead, over eight to twelve weeks, the area gradually looks fuller, firmer and better rested.

What it treats well

Sculptra shines on broad areas of general volume loss rather than a specific line. Hollow temples, flattening cheeks, the overall thinning that makes a face look tired rather than any single feature look wrong.

It works beautifully on skin quality too. Patients often report their skin looking thicker and more resilient, not just fuller.

What filler still does better

If you want fuller lips, a defined jawline or a smoothed nasolabial fold, filler is the right tool. It is precise, it is immediate, and it is reversible. Sculptra is none of those things.

Many patients end up using both: Sculptra for the foundation, filler for definition.

The timeline, honestly

Sculptra is planned as a series, usually two to three sessions spaced about a month apart. Results build over three to six months and can last two years or more.

This means it is a poor choice if you have an event in six weeks. It is an excellent choice if you are thinking about how you want to look in two years.

Who tends to love it

Patients who want the change to be gradual enough that nobody can point to a moment. Sculptra is popular with people who would rather no one knew they had anything done, because there is no day when your face suddenly looks different.

If that is what you are after, come talk to us. We will map the full series and total cost at your consultation so there is nothing open-ended about the commitment.

How Long Does Lip Filler Really Last?

Lip filler longevity varies more than most people expect. Here is what actually drives it, and why your second syringe often lasts longer than your first.

The honest answer is six to twelve months, and in many cases longer, for most people. But that range is wide enough to be unhelpful on its own. Here is what actually moves it.

Your metabolism

The single biggest factor, and the one you cannot change. Hyaluronic acid filler is broken down by your own body. People with faster metabolisms simply process it faster. If you are very active and lean, expect the shorter end of the range.

Where it is placed

Lips move constantly. You talk, eat, drink and smile all day, and that movement breaks filler down faster than in almost any other area of the face. This is why lips need refreshing more often than cheeks or jawline, where the same product can last well over a year.

Which product was used

Thinner products designed for soft, natural lips do not last as long as denser ones built for structure. That is a trade-off, not a flaw. We choose based on the look you want, and we will tell you what that choice means for longevity.

How much was placed

A small amount fades sooner, simply because there is less of it. A first-time patient who starts conservatively may find results softening at six months, and that is expected rather than a sign anything went wrong.

Why the second time often lasts longer

Many patients notice their second treatment outlasting their first. Part of that is starting from a base that has not fully dissolved. Part is that we now know how your body handles filler and can adjust product and placement accordingly.

What actually helps

Sun protection genuinely matters, since UV exposure degrades hyaluronic acid. Staying hydrated helps. Not smoking helps considerably, both for filler longevity and for the lip lines that make people want filler in the first place.

Most of our patients settle into refreshing every eight to twelve months, often with a small top-up rather than a full syringe. Your consultation is free, so if you are unsure whether it is time, come in and we will tell you honestly if you can wait.

Botox, Dysport, Daxxify or Jeuveau: Which One Is Right for You?

Four wrinkle relaxers with different personalities. How they really differ in onset, duration and spread, and how we choose between them.

If you have been reading about wrinkle relaxers lately, you have probably seen four names and wondered whether the difference is real or just marketing. It is real, though smaller than the brands would like you to believe. All four relax the muscle that creates the line. Where they differ is how fast they start working, how long they last, and how they spread once placed.

Botox

The one everyone knows, and still the one we use most often. Results show up in three to seven days and last three to four months. It behaves very predictably, which matters a great deal in delicate areas like around the eyes.

Dysport

Dysport tends to kick in faster, often within two or three days, and it spreads a little more once injected. That spread is an advantage across a broad forehead and a disadvantage in a small, precise area. For someone with an event coming up who does not want to wait, the quicker start is genuinely useful.

Daxxify

The long-lasting one. Daxxify can hold for up to six months in some patients, close to double the others. It does not do that for everyone, and it usually costs more per treatment, but for someone who would rather not come in three or four times a year the math can work out in its favor.

Jeuveau

Formulated specifically for cosmetic use, it performs much like Botox and generally comes in at a slightly lower price. It is a sensible option for a first-time patient who wants to try wrinkle relaxers without committing to the premium choice.

How we actually choose

Honestly, the product matters less than where it is placed. Placement decides whether you look rested or frozen, and no brand fixes bad placement.

That said, here is roughly how we think about it. Around the eyes we prioritize precision, so Botox or Jeuveau. Across a broad forehead, Dysport's spread can be an asset. For a patient who wants to come in twice a year instead of four times, Daxxify earns its price.

At your consultation we talk through which one fits your muscle strength, your calendar, and your budget, and you leave knowing exactly which product and how many units before anything is injected.

A step-by-step walk through a first lip filler appointment at Lumière, from numbing to aftercare, and what the first 48 hours really look like.

Most nerves about lip filler come from not knowing what the hour looks like. So here is the whole thing, start to finish.

Before you arrive

Skip alcohol for 24 hours, and if it is medically safe for you, skip aspirin, ibuprofen and fish oil for a few days. All of them thin the blood slightly and make bruising more likely. Arrive with clean lips, no lipstick.

If you have a wedding, a holiday or photographs coming up, tell us when you book. We will schedule you at least two weeks ahead of it.

The consultation

We start by talking, not injecting. What bothers you, what you want more of, what you definitely do not want. Bring photographs if you have a look in mind, including ones you dislike. Knowing what you want to avoid is as useful as knowing what you want.

We look at your lips at rest and when you smile, and at how they sit against the rest of your face. Lips that suit one face can look wrong on another, which is why we plan around your proportions rather than a trend.

Numbing

A strong topical numbing cream goes on for fifteen to twenty minutes. Most filler also contains lidocaine, so the area keeps numbing as we work. Patients typically describe pressure rather than pain.

The treatment itself

Usually fifteen to twenty minutes. We work in small amounts, stopping often to have you sit up and look in the mirror. This is deliberate. Lips look different lying down, and you should be part of the decision as we go.

Most first-time patients start with half a syringe to one syringe. We would almost always rather do less and add later than overfill and dissolve.

Immediately after

You will be swollen. Expect your lips to look larger than the final result, sometimes noticeably, and possibly a little uneven for a few days. That is normal and not the outcome.

Bruising is possible, particularly at the corners. Ice gently, sleep with your head slightly elevated, skip the gym for 24 hours, and avoid straws and very hot drinks for a day.

Days two to fourteen

Swelling peaks around day two, then drops sharply. By day seven you are seeing close to the real result, and by week two it has fully settled.

We will see you at two weeks if you want to adjust. Many patients add a small amount then, once everything has settled, and that is a completely normal way to build a result you love.

A straight answer on Botox pricing in Pembroke Pines, how units work, what a typical treatment costs, and why per-area pricing can be misleading.

If you have searched for Botox pricing in Pembroke Pines, you have probably noticed how hard it is to get a straight answer. Most practices ask you to book a consultation before they will say a number. We publish ours, so let us explain how it actually works.

Botox is priced per unit, not per treatment

A unit is a measure of the product itself, not an area of your face. At Lumière, Botox, Dysport and Daxxify start at $11.99 per unit, and Jeuveau and Letybo start at $10.99 per unit.

Your total depends on how many units your face needs, which depends on your muscle strength, your anatomy, and the result you want. This is why two people can walk out of the same appointment with very different totals and both be priced fairly.

What a typical treatment actually costs

Here is roughly what different areas take. These are ranges, not promises, and your consultation confirms the exact number before anything is injected.

Forehead lines: usually 10 to 20 units

Frown lines, the "11s" between your brows: usually 15 to 25 units

Crow's feet: usually 10 to 24 units for both sides

A first-time treatment addressing the forehead and frown lines together commonly lands somewhere between 20 and 40 units. At $11.99 per unit, that is roughly $240 to $480.

Watch out for "per area" pricing

Some practices advertise a flat price per area rather than per unit. It sounds simpler, and sometimes it is genuinely cheaper. But it can also mean you pay the same whether you needed 10 units or 25, and it makes it very hard to compare one practice against another.

Per-unit pricing means you pay for exactly what was used. Ask any practice you are considering which model they use, and ask how many units they plan to place. If they will not tell you, that is worth noticing.

Why the cheapest option is rarely the best value

Neurotoxin is a prescription medication, and the price of the product itself does not vary much between practices. When you see dramatically low pricing, the difference is usually somewhere else: heavily diluted product, a less experienced injector, or an introductory rate that climbs at your second visit.

What you are really paying for is the judgment of the person holding the syringe. Placement is what determines whether you look rested or frozen, and that is not something a discount can fix afterward.

How long it lasts, and what that means for your budget

Most patients see results within three to seven days, with full effect around two weeks. Results typically last three to four months, so most people treat three times a year. Daxxify may last longer for some patients.

That means the real question is not what a single treatment costs, but what maintaining the result costs across a year. Two to three treatments annually is a realistic plan for most people, and knowing that up front makes it far easier to decide whether it fits your budget.

What we do differently

Our full price list is published on our website. You can see what everything costs before you ever contact us. Your consultation is free, and you leave it with an exact number in writing rather than a range.

And if we think you would be better served by fewer units, or by a different treatment entirely, we will tell you. Talking someone out of a treatment they do not need is a much better long-term business than selling it.

Current per-unit pricing, this month's special, and online booking are on our Botox in Pembroke Pines page.
